Well, you can't exactly blame anybody fer the lack of pageviews. There are several million members on here, afterall- and the numbers just keep on rising. Most people on here have all their attention focused upon the super-popular ones or their own friends- so it's not too often that they decide to just up and randomly look at other folks pages. They also don't tend to stick around long if that member has no gallery, journal, or whatever else on their page.
DeviantArt is a community. And just like any other community, people aren't going to notice you if you don't do anything. Put some stuff into yer Gallery, start a blog through yer journal, post on the forums, comment on other peoples work- there is no end to what you can do to attract attention.
